A Wealthy Girl Book Anniversary Celebration and Key Takeaways

I published my book 8 months ago to address these concerns and desires you told me that you had: 

  • I need more money in my bank and investment accounts

  • I do not feel as wealthy as I deserve to be 

  • As a person of color, the racial wealth gap is too wide, and I’ll never catch up 

I wrote A Wealthy Girl: 7 Steps to Prosperity, Peace, and Personal Power so that you can get the wealth that is destined for you, without fear or constraint. I’ve seen wealth manifest in my own life, as well as many women around me, and I want the same for you. In my faith, I strongly believe that “From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked” (Luke 24: 48). 

As I reflect over the last eight months on what readers have said have been the most meaningful takeaways, I want to share 8 that have stuck out most - one for every month:

  1. I see myself as wealthy even when no one else might. 

  2. I bought the book for my husband in my life so he can know what it takes to build together as a unit and adopt ‘a wealthy girl mindset’

  3. I opened up a brokerage account to start investing outside of my 401k. 

  4. I told my 4 friends about the book and we started a wealth circle together. 

  5. I’ve found myself a therapist and a career coach.  

  6. I’ve run a wealth experiment to launch a new website when I didn’t have all the answers figured out yet.  

  7. Even though I have no desire to start a business, I invested in a local business through their gofundme page. 

  8. I now have conversations with my daughter and my Mom every week to talk about our wealth and the legacy we want to leave.

I find it appropriate that in the month when I am celebrating the eight months that my book has changed lives, I will have my first in-person event at the St. Charles Chamber of Commerce. I am providing a luncheon keynote address on: A Woman’s Worth: Building Intergenerational Wealth. If you’re in the area, you are welcome to come by to get some goodies on the worth that you, or the women in your life possess, as well as strategies to build intergenerational wealth.
